maisie
Maisie's previous family left her to wait at the pound for 54 long days before someone finally saved her from death row. She is about three years old, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and registered in the ACT. She is very loving, has an exceptionally sweet nature, and has had some obedience training. Maisie went to her new home on 11 November.
Mishka is a young cattle dog cross. She is about seven months old and is a very pretty girl with cute folded over ears and blue markings on white fur. She is very affectionate and gets on well with other dogs. Mishka went to her new home on 15 November.

keira
Keira was adopted on 24 November.
"Keira was just the sort of dog we were after, and is happy in her new home here in Spence. She has a big backyard, lots of toys and plenty of affection, and is gaining confidence on her walks up Mount Rogers. She's grown from 7kg to around 12kg. Thanks for the work you do and for saving Keira."

Basil went to his new home on 25 November.
"Basil is such a rewarding little fellow—always so full of enthusiasm and welcomes when we come home and so keen to be a part of every family activity. He loves going in the car almost as much as he loves chasing his ball! Without doubt Basil has enriched our lives."

arsha1.jpg - 5896 Bytes Arsha is a Japanese Spitz, only about 2 years old. Arsha went to his new home in WA on 8 December. "Neo (was Arsha) met his new family by accident, as I took him to meet their dogs (a rottie and a border collie) and the whole family fell in love with him instantly - he lives a life of luxury now and sleeps on the bed, spending his winter days relaxing in front of the fire. He's thriving in obedience training, although being winter he has to wear a little coat to keep him warm! His new mum dotes on him, and I still see him regularly which is great as he's come such a long way from the abused little dog we first rescued from the pound."
Kirra is aged between 8-12months. She is very friendly and is a beautiful and playful cattle dog cross puppy. She is excellent with kids and other dogs. Kirra is vaccinated, wormed, desexed and registered in the ACT. Kirra was adopted on 8 December.

Tiger
Tiger went to live with his new family on 19 January 2002.
"Tiger is loved by all and very much a part of the family - he has given us such joy. He helps us dig up the garden (and lawn), he lets me know that it's lazy to sleep in beyond 7am and he makes sure that the cat never gets above her station. He has cost us a fortune, including a new fence, but we wouldn't have it any other way, we all adore him. Thanks ARF."
