Name: Ruski
Sex: Male
Age (approx): 2 years
Breed: Border Terrier x
Description: Ruski is a fun and friendly little fella who loves to play and cuddle. "We go for walks together. The male human takes [the other dog] and the small human takes me on my new red collar and lead (personally I think it's a bit poncey and I think the small human agrees but the female human chose it so we're humouring her at the moment!) I've been for walks with just the small human as well which is nice because we can have a bit of a chat as we go. Hey, I've learnt not to sit on the couch already and the small human and the male human are teaching me to walk at heel which is quite nice because it stops the collar pulling at my neck - you always said I was smart didn't you? The small human is great fun, he throws balls for me and plays tug of war, and when there's no one in the garden to play with I race up and down the fence with the dog next door. Well that's all for now, I've got a bit of serious sleeping to do, our beds get moved to the study in the day time where female human taps away at this machine, I've jumped on her lap and joined in a few times and she suggested I might like to write to you. Anyway, I think it's going to be cool here, you mustn't worry about me."

Rehomed: 17 September 2003 |
Name: Buddy
Sex: Male
Age (approx): 4 years
Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross
Description: Buddy by name, Buddy by nature. "He has found a nice cosy spot on the futon in the spare room that gets all the afternoon sun. We have put his basket in our room, and he doesn't leave it at all during the night. In the morning I have him in bed and he snores his little head off. We bought him a big bag of chicken necks and he absolutely loves them. We took him to a friends place on Sunday night for a roast dinner. He was a very good boy and it wasn't long before he was strutting around like it was his house too. He doesn't seem to mind
too much about travelling in the car, and he licks everyone to death. He has adopted a lot of godparents (our friends just LOVE him)!!! Anyway, I just wanted you to know that he is settling in well. Thank you very much for all your help."
