| Lucky Girl: Mindy Breed: Kelpie x Beagle Age: 1yr approx Sex: Female Size: Small-Medium Little Mindy arrived in Canberra from Wagga Pound and immediately stole everyone's heart! She is quickly learning the ropes as a 'hearing dog' for her new owner, Joy, who is deaf, and they will spend many happy years together going for long walks, watching tele on the couch, visiting friends and generally spending all their time together... Mindy couldn't have imagined anything like the luxury she is going to be living in had ARF not come along in time to save her and Joy is thrilled that they did! | The Kid has got it! Cisco Sex: Male Age: 10 months approx Breed: Boxer x Size: Large Lucky Cisco is going to live with a lovely lady vet, who is into triathallon training - so he'll have no shortage of long runs to enjoy! Cisco will be spending his time playing ball with his new owner, lazing in a lovely big yard, spending smoochy time inside and learning to be civil to the cat (he really, really just wants to play ;-)! A lovely result for a lovely, lovely boy - all thanks to ARF! Rescued: 13 December 2006 Adopted: 3 February 2007 | Handsome gentleman: Jules (now Cossack) Sex: Male Age: 10-12 months Breed: Rottweiler crossbreed Size: Large When Callum from Brisbane spotted Jules on the ARF website and talked to his foster carer about his temperament, he knew this was the perfect dog for him. So he jumped in his car and drove all the way to the ACT to adopt Jules. Callum and Jules (now Cossack) were absolutely delighted with each other from the moment they met, and have gone back to Brisbane to live happily ever after. His new owners were so keen to meet him that they rang practically as soon as he went up on the website! They were thrilled with the results and are very impressed with the work done on the ARF site and by ARF in general :-)... Another happy ending! | Gentle Man: Atlas Age: 2 years approx Breed: Great Dane Mix Size: Large Sex: Male This gentle giant has found a loving new home with another dog for company and people who just adore him and think he is very beautiful ;-) Atlas' new owners found him on the ARF website and just had to meet him - and we're really glad they did because he's worked out to be the perfect addition to their family! Her new family are retirees and keen to take her to doggie companion school and do flyball with her. She will have the most stunning yard we have ever seen to play in -- it has a beach view!! Barry and Irene have recently lost their own much-loved kelpie, who looked amazingly like Kelsey. They said they have a lot of time and love to give a dog like Kelsey.
