ARF Dogs available for adoptionARF dogs are in temporary foster care and seeking suitable permanent loving homes. ARF dogs are microchipped, desexed, C5 vaccinated, wormed and health-checked. To help cover these costs, ARF asks for an adoption fee contribution of $300 (incl GST) per dog (or $150 (incl GST) for dogs over 8 years old) plus any donations people may wish to make. | Marvelous Marvin Age: approx 6 months Breed: Crossbreed Sex: Male Size: Medium Description: Marvin is a young boy with lots of love to give. He has only come into care this week so we are still learning about him. He will need to go to a home who can give him lots of exercise and will also be willing to train him. There will be more information about Marvin once we get to know him better. He has a short soft coat which will be easy to maintain with a regular weekly brush.    | Bodacious Brandi Age: 5 months approximately Breed: Staffy X Sex: Female Size: Medium Description: Brandi is such a gorgeous girl and so well behaved. She loves the company of all people, children and other dogs. She’s very kind and gentle and loves any kind of affection. Brandi is very obedient, she has not had any training yet but she’s very smart and would be a quick learner. She sits for food and not being allowed in our kitchen she waits patiently at the kitchen door until her food is ready. Brandi has many toys but she’d much prefer your company, even if it’s just relaxing and watching TV. She loves chasing you if you run around and smothering you if she catches you. She is always gentle and soft. She’s also learning to play ball and loves running after it and most times brings it back. Brandi sleeps in the laundry at night and stays outside during the day. She loves her blanket and will sleep wherever you leave it. She walks really well on the lead and walks next you most of the time. She does get excited when she see’s other dogs but she just wants to play. Brandi is great with other dogs and just enjoys their company. | Beautiful Bobby About 8 months Bobby is a very cute youngster who is full of love and life. He seems to be out to prove that blonds really do have more fun. When he’s not playing with the humans he’s busy playing with his foster sister, Mya. He can play all day, and thanks to this he sleeps very well all night. Bobby’s had a bit of a rough start and needs a bit of fattening up before he’s ready for adoption, but until then he’s starting to learn good manners and is loving having a home that has plenty of fun for him. He would benefit from a family that wants a very playful and energetic, yet also loving and smoochy dog. A family that is willing to put in a bit of time to keep reinforcing good behaviour. Bobby is an exhuberant boy who sure has his own charm, and with such a happy boy, it’s hard not to fall in love. Jess Sex: Female Age: 9 months Breed: Bulldog X Size: Medium Description: The first thing you notice with Jess is those amazing blue eyes. So unusual, so unique. Then no doubt you are having a hug as Jess is a very affectionate girl who just LOVES to be close and a part of your life. Jess is a happy, friendly girl who seems to get on with everyone - including other animals such as cats and horses. She loves to romp and play with her doggy companions. She is quite the clown and makes you laugh with some of her antics and the ways that she plays with her toys. Being a reasonably active dog, Jess needs an owner committed to providing her with regular exercise and being just a pup, she would benefit from going to dog training to further her skills. Jess is looking for her "special" home where she can share her love and be a large part of your life. She needs to be allowed inside and needs another dog for company. With regard to Jess' eyes, several people have asked if she is blind. No she is not blind and seems to be able to see, romp, play, jump like other dogs. She does have an eye condition that also affects humans where the pupil doesn't stay still but it doesn't seem to stop her from doing anything at all.
