Special Thanks

Juneau

Many thanks to Peter, Gillian, Paul, Pip, Sarah and Pam for their generosity.

Juneau would also like to acknowledge "Furry Tales" Mobile Veterinary Service and Kiah's favourite Charity. The kind team spent countless hours at Pet Expo face painting and raising funds (in the name of Vet, Dr Fiona Cox's special dog Kiah) especially for Juneau.

Heartfelt thanks also to all those adults and kids (who donated their pocket money) at the Pet Expo who kindly donated towards Juneau's cause.

Lisa's gift

Many, many thanks to "ARFer Lisa" for her continued support of our foster dogs.

Thank you so much Lisa for your efforts in lightening the Foster Carers' load -- and big woofs from all the doggies whose tummies you have helped fill out!

Lisa met the "love of her life" through ARF -- her dog Jasper (previously Forrest Gump) and as a sign of her appreciation Lisa periodically rolls up with a boot full of goodies for the ARF dogs who are still looking for their forever homes. Above is her latest boot full!!  And below is what she donated earlier this year!!

Lisa can't foster but she can, and does, help ARF in other ways. Her generosity is phenomenal.  ARF's Foster Carers, as well as their foster dogs, want Lisa to know how much they appreciate her kindness.  Foster carers feed, clothe and house the dogs in their care all at their own expense. They also willingly run the dogs to vet appointments, meetings, classes and other activities, and return lots and lots of phone calls about their foster dogs.

Foster carer Beau comes from nowhere when he hears the rustle of a biscuit packet and has accordingly been appointed offical ARF donations quality control officer. As evidenced by these two photos,  he is continually disappointed to see none of the food was for cats -- but he did find one packet  open so he dived in to trial it.

Over Christmas the good folks at Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) had a dog food drive of which ARF was one of the fortunate recipients.

ARF would like to thank Dorothy of GTE Transport for her significant, enduring, and greatly appreciated support for dogs in need from the Canberra Region. Thanks to GTE Transport, many dogs continue to make it to rescuers out of region which has enabled their lives to be saved.

A BIG thank you to all the kind people who donated money to help Clancy with all his lumps and bumps. The vet work would not have been possible without you and it is very much appreciated.

ARF is very grateful to National Archives staff for their generous Christmas donation.

A big thank you to Joanna Tyrrell for organising a massive dog food drive and to the students of MacKillop Catholic College in Wanniassa for all of their kind donations.

Thanks to Katie for her donation in loving memory of Bailey (former ARFer Roger)

Thanks to those who have contributed to replace Dusty's sad expression with such a hopeful smile.

Joeys

Thank you to the Bungendore Joey's for their wonderful interest in and support for ARF's work.
