	ARF Dogs available for adoption ARF dogs are in temporary foster care and seeking suitable permanent loving homes. ARF dogs are microchipped, desexed, C5 vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, wormed, and health-checked. To help cover these costs, ARF asks for an adoption fee contribution of $300 (incl GST) per dog (or $150 (incl GST) for dogs over 8 years old) plus any donations people may wish to make. 	Lap Dog: Mooch Sex: Female Age: approx 13 years Breed: Chihuahua/Foxie Size: Tiny Description: Mooch might be ultra small in stature but she makes up for it in personality. A friendly little dog who has endeared herself to all those that visit. When someone comes over, it isn't long before she is curled up on their lap having a lovely cuddle. Mooch has worked out that by making someone feel really special, she gets her favourite thing in life - sitting on your lap and cuddling on the couch. She has shown herself to be very good with gentle children, though best with children over 8 years due to her tiny size she could be easily hurt. But don't be fooled, she is a sprightly little girl who gets excited when the lead comes out and she looks forward to her walks. She is good on lead and a pleasure to walk. Mooch also loves a car trip - of course much preferring to accompany you on your outings, than to be left at home. Mooch has a fantastic set of healthy teeth which has had many believing she is much younger than her approx age. She has the odd lump and bump that is common in older dogs but doesn't seem bothered by these. Mooch is tiny, therefore she needs a very secure yard where there are no holes/gaps for her to slip through and escape.
